Wimberley Santa was originated by Sonny Gold in the early 1980's. The Wimberley Santa mission was to provide toys to some of the less fortunate children in the Wimberley area. Laurel Gold and the Gold family have continued this tradition for over a quarter of a century. The program has grown; some years providing 100 families with toys.
